A bit about me.

I am a Samoyed, which is a member of the Spitz family of dogs. We originally come from Siberia where we were bred by the nomadic Samoyed people for

1) Pulling sledges from camp to camp.

2) Snuggling up with the children at nights to keep them warm.

3) Digging food out of the snow.

4) Herding animals.

The second of these means that we have an inbred affinity with all humans but particularly with children. What more could any child want than a real live teddy bear to keep them warm and safe at night.

The third one means that in normal family life we love to help out with the gardening, sometimes to the extent of needing more than one bath a day. If it looks digable, we will try it out.

I was born in Chorley, Lancashire at Annecey Samoyeds and come from a long line of champion show dogs. This has not made me a snob however, I am quite happy to make friends with anyone. You will find a copy of my pedigree by clicking on pedigree here but beware, I am very possessive of it and if I find out that anyone has copied it and is using it wrongly, I and my breeders will take legal retribution and I will bite their bums as well. You may however use it to check if your Samoyed is related to me.
